History & Goals

History

The T4C team was created back in the beginning of 2020.

They were formed with the idea of continuing the work on T4C.

Their work was based on the 1.74 version that was previously completed by “T4CDEV”.

They followed in the footsteps of many people who have helped to keep T4C alive over the years.

The Team

With Mouse leading the team we are proud to compose a united and dynamic team.

The team includes several well-known figures from the T4C community, such as Mestoph our lead programmer, Orcafleches our tools programmer who is in charge of making the impossible happen and Syluna our beloved community manager and tools programmer who helps to keep everyone involved and informed.

With the help of all of the HGM, GM’s and Tester’s who run the servers every day, they hope to provide a great gaming experience.

Our Objectives to Make This Possible

Our initial focus has been on client stability and quality of life upgrades.

Our first task has been to tame the beast everyone has known for 25+ plus years and that’s the client we all play on.

To begin the work, we must build on solid foundations.

We will therefore fix all identified bugs and add quality of life improvements.

This is just the first step in our vision to bring us up to version 2.0.

We hope to have quite a bit released by the middle of the year.

The Client & The Server

The essence of the game will remain the same.

We will keep the "old school" spirit of T4C, but modernize it as much as possible.

Our goal is to optimize stability and gameplay experience, reduce latency, and introduce significant improvements.

At the same time, we will strengthen server capabilities and provide additional tools to server teams, not only for their well-being but also to preserve their mental health.

The future of The 4th Coming (T4C) is being rewritten.

We would like to thank all of the teams and people that have come before us.

Without them we would not be here today.

We strive to keep the community informed of new ideas and changes made to the game.

So stay tuned and follow us closely!
